MID REIT, Inc. has newly welcomed Mitsubishi Corp. - UBS Realty Inc. as its main sponsor, and the trade name of MID REIT, Inc. has been changed to “MCUBS MidCity Investment Corporation,” effective June 16, 2015. In addition, the head office has been relocated to Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, effective October 5, 2015.


An earthquake with magnitude of 6.5 (provisional figure) struck Kumamoto region in Kumamoto Prefecture at 9:26 pm on April 14, 2016 and series of aftershocks continue in the region. While MCUBS MidCity Investment Corporation (“MCUBS MidCity”) holds a property in Fukuoka Prefecture, no damage has been reported at this time. An update will be provided in case any damages that may affect MCUBS MidCity’s operating results are found.
